The typical candidate will work within a global team working within the Singapore branch supporting business / external client users and monitoring priority batches / systems. If the candidate has had experience working within a global team and taken on challenges within a complex environment this role would be perfect for them.


Additional note – the team is global however the individual would require to work representing within Singapore. He would be the only Platform Support individual situated within Singapore and would require to have confidence to work in such an environment (Hong Kong support is also working within the same time zone).


Job Requirement:

  • Experienced with supporting UNIX / Windows/ Oracle environments
  • Experience supporting Production environments within financial industry
  • Experienced with writing bash/ Python scripts
  • Aware of devOps framework / methodology
  • Experienced working with a Java applications running on Unix environments
  • Experienced working with Sophis
  • Experienced monitoring refreshes for non-prod environments
  • Must have proven experience both implementing / managing control-M requests
  • Experience working with Nagios
    • Understanding alarms
    • Implementing custom alarms on a complex environment
  • Good understanding of development tools / standards
  • Good understanding of databases
  • Must be ITIL certified
  • Knowledge of infrastructure components such as Servers / Databases / Firewalls
  • Experience with Confluence / JIRA support
  • Keen to automate where manual processes require to be updated
  • Keen to automate with deployment/ batch control tools
  • Bonus Skills:
    • ElasticSearch / Logstash clusters
    • ElasticBox / Docker
    • Kubernetes
    • Experience working with AWS
    • PagerDuty
